Dear Money Tribe,

I have realized that alcohol has become a problem for me and I am not comfortable with the fact that I don’t feel in control of my drinking. I am ready to do something about it.  I have been wanting to do this for so long, but keep putting it off due to my work schedule and obligations.  

I feel so strongly that the time to take control is now, and I know that with the right support system I truly can conquer this.  In addition to gaining control of my drinking, I will be weaning off my medications.  This is the most terrifying part for me, but I know I can do it with the right help. 

This decision has led me to commit to a 28-day detox program at Theta Wellness.

This program will help me detox from both alcohol and prescription medication, and I am opening myself up to my Money Talks women to join me on this journey.

For 28 days I will be going to Theta Wellness Center where they will use tools such as hypnosis and neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) to help me work through some deeply rooted beliefs that aren't serving me.  I will take you with me each time, documenting the process.

Over the next 30 days I will be sharing with you the emotional, spiritual, and physical process I will go through to start treating my body the way I know it wants to be treated.  

I have previously committed to a 1-week trip to Italy with Mike in mid-May, but I will continue to journal my experience while I'm there and share it with you.  I know this is going to be very hard, but I am confident that I can do this with your support and loving feedback.

I am excited to invite you to join me on this journey! I would love for us to work together over the next 30 days toward developing healthy habits – whether you are looking to cut back on drinking, over medicating, over eating, lack of rest, or anything that is not serving your physical body.

Theta Wellness has agreed to do LIVE courses on helping us change the neuropathways in our brain. You will receive access to the same information I will be receiving on neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), hypnotherapy, and other reprogramming techniques.

Together, we have done the hard work of strengthening our minds, and I believe that together we can bring our bodies into alignment with our minds, resulting in wholeness & health for our total self.

Throughout this course, I will be sharing my experience daily, supporting you on your journey, and working through any obstacles together. Additionally, we will be creating sub-Facebook pages for members of this course to provide support and encouragement specific to the ONE area of physical health you would like to focus on over our 30-days together:

1.     Nutrition – Eating the right amount of clean foods that fuel your body well, hydrating properly, etc.

2.     Strength – Incorporating regular exercise, training our bodies to support an active and healthy lifestyle.

3.     Rest – Establishing healthy sleep patterns, implementing healthy boundaries that equip us to live our day to day lives with a healthy level of energy.

4.     Addiction – Detoxing from addictions to alcohol, drugs, over-medication, food, etc.

When you sign up for this course, you will be instructed to choose ONE of these categories to focus on throughout the next 30 days. Although we realize there may be more than one area you would like to work on, we ask that you choose only one category to give yourself the time and space necessary to retrain your brain, creating healthy habits with the goal of seeing significant improvement in one targeted area.

In addition to the main course page where you will have access to the course content, you will also have access to the Facebook sub-page that corresponds to your specific focus. These focus groups will enable you to build relationships with other like-minded women for support, positivity, uplifting, and encouragement.

Class begins May 1st.  You will receive your invitation to join the private Facebook page(s) on Sunday, April 30th.
